Alisha Powell

As a Black woman living in the United States, I wear multiple hats like many others. I grew up in a religiously conservative household and spent some of my childhood on a compound. I’ve wrestled with reconciling spirituality with the religious ideals I was taught. My background is in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Psychology and I have over ten years of experience as a therapist. My journey has been one of learning how to manage stress, intentional personal growth and radical self acceptance. It is this knowledge and experience that I bring into my practice and in my work with clients.
