My clients often have an idea of what they want in life, but find they are stuck in patterns that stop them from pursuing their dreams. Our collaborative work focuses on building a life that honors the true, authentic self. The goals of treatment often involve identifying underlying beliefs and working to heal beliefs that are limiting. The process of healing almost always involves intentional shifts in relationships; relationships with oneself, mental health, and loved ones. I primarily see LGBTQ+ clients (and allies), which means supporting clients to develop healthy authenticity in a society that may not be nurturing or safe.
