Where to submit
Where: Cherokee County Probate Court, 90 North Street, Suite 340, Canton
How: Present Certification of Completion of Qualifying Premarital Education at time of application. Both applicants must sign in presence of Deputy Clerk.
When: Applications must be completed by 4:10 P.M. for same-day service. Office hours 8:30 A.M. to 4:10 P.M. Monday through Friday.

- Find a qualified premarital education provider in Georgia
- Complete at least 6 hours of premarital education together as a couple within 12 months before applying
- Obtain your certificate of completion
- Present the certificate at the county probate court when applying for your marriage license
