My specialized areas of focus are trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationships. I use CBT, EF, ACT, and the Gottman method, among others. These approaches acknowledge the unique experiences and cultural nuances that shape the lives of African American people. I create a safe, supportive environment where you can confront and heal from systemic racism, generational trauma, and personal struggles. I understand that seeking therapy can be a courageous and vulnerable step, especially for Black individuals who have historically faced systemic barriers and biases in mental health care.
