About Amelia
At the heart of my work is a steadfast belief in the healing power of creating safe spaces. Feeling seen, heard, validated, and supported is crucial in reducing feelings of shame and facilitating self-compassion and acceptance. As Brene Brown says “shame dies when stories are told in safe places.” Within these safe relationships we can experience both the desirable and undesirable parts of ourselves and this integration is conducive to the healing process.
I work with individuals andcoupleswho might be struggling with communication barriers,relationship/life dissatisfaction, harmful behavior patterns, and/or conflict.
