I'm an eccentric, nerdy, socially awkward member of the LGBTQIA+ community in northern Wisconsin, who became a therapist to help people in the same way that other therapists helped me in life. Therapy can seem intimidating, but it is just a way to connect with another human who can help validate, explore perspectives, listen without judgment, and provide much-needed support as you traverse the ups and downs of life. Therapists just have a few extra tools in their pocket to help along the way.
