I have been working with premarital couples for over five years and teach a premarital workshop four times a year. Pre-marital couples are one of my favorite populations because I get to help them identify what they are bringing into the relationship from their family of origin, as well as help them develop a healthy dialogue for effective communication and active listening skills. I do not focus on one specific type of therapy, but work with the couple to identify what method will be most effective for them as every relationship is unique.
